Connect to your existing POP3, IMAP or even Exchange account easily by following the configuration assistant.
You can also access Internet email accounts such as Hotmail or Yahoo! Mail. Messages sent to those accounts can be scheduled for automatic delivery to your device.
Business Tip
Instead of having a long and drawn-out email conversation, try using instant messaging.
Internet Browser There's no need to be chained to your desk to surf the web. You can check out the latest business news, share prices, timetables or search information with your mobile whenever and wherever you need to.
To use the Internet Browser, you must have an Internet connection using EDGE, GPRS, UMTS or HSDPA. In most case, your wireless carrier or network administrator has already set up an Internet connection on your device. If necessary, you can obtain connection setup information for most of these connection types from your Internet service provider (ISP) or network administrator.
Business Tip
Remember that not all sites are compatible with mobiles, and some functionality may be lost.
Document Viewer
It helps you keep up with your daily work when you are away from the office. You can access MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents as well as Adobe PDFs, all on your mobile. You can also view HTML and JPEG files, so both you and your office can be as mobile as you need to be.
With Microsoft Office Mobile you can also edit Word documents and Excel worksheets, and save the changes on your phone.
View, edit, and create charts and graphs. Presentation elements built into slide shows, such as slide transitions and animations, will play back on the device. Links to URLs are also supported.
Business Tip
Remember that mobile versions of these applications do not fully support all the features of the PC versions.
Outlook Sync
You can easily synchronise your mobile with your PC. So you can send or receive email and view all your key Microsoft Outlook data such as contacts and calendars on your mobile.
In addition, you can use ActiveSync to synchronize directly with a Microsoft Exchange Server account. This will enable you to synchronize Outlook email, calendar events, contacts, favourites, and tasks from wherever you are.
Business Tip
To set up your Exchange account, you must obtain the name of the Exchange Server and the server domain name from your service provider or system administrator. You must also know your Exchange user name and password.
